About Clarity
Helping good knowledge reach everyday people
We know more than we once did about health, mental health, relationships, human behaviour and how people can help each other. But it takes time for that knowledge to move beyond research, health services and professional practice into the wider community.
Clarity Training is one small attempt to help close that gap.
Through first aid education, we can share reliable information, build practical skills and challenge misconceptions.
The purpose is simple: help people become better equipped to help each other.
Why first aid?
First aid is for everyone. People don't need to become health professionals or experts to make a difference.
Sometimes a little knowledge, a few practical skills and the confidence to act can make a very big difference.
First aid also recognises something fundamental about being human: sometimes we are vulnerable and need help. At other times, we may be the person in a position to provide it.
What matters to us
People come to training with different experiences, knowledge, confidence and needs. We want them to feel included, respected and safe enough to participate, ask questions and learn.
When they leave, we hope they feel clearer, more confident and empowered to use what they've learned when someone needs help.
Over the years, people have written to tell us about conversations they had, emergencies they responded to and, sometimes, lives they helped save.
Ultimately, that's why we do what we do.
